Arising Empire

One of the UK’s most successful independent metalcore acts currently taking the scene by storm Our Hollow, Our Home are a five piece British melodic metalcore band from Southampton (UK).

Formed in 2013 OHOH completed a number of UK tours ahead of releasing their debut EP ‘//REDEFINE’ in 2015. At the end of 2015 going into 2016 they started receiving a lot of attention from the ‘Feast For The Crows’ & ‘Throne To The Wolves’ videos and in May 2016 made their EU debut on a co-headliner with Imminence. A number of videos followed all hitting 100k views on their YT channel quicker than the previous one and full page features in key printed magazines followed-Kerrang! (Fresh Blood), Rocksound(Exposure) & Metal Hammer (Hot New Band).

Our Hollow Our Home then ramped up their game in 2017 independently releasing their debut album ‘Hartsick’ to critical acclaim.

Upon release the album went to #1 in UK iTunes Metal and Rock charts as well as top 10 and top 20 placings in numerous countries including USA, Canada, Australia, Germany and Mexico. A cover of Ed Sheeran ‘Shape Of You’ then went to #1 iTunes Metal Songs in the UK and the video racked up 300,000 views in a week and was played on Greg James Radio 1 show.

The remainder of 2017 was spent touring heavily including two Headline EU runs including main stage festivals slots at Traffic Jam Open Air (DE), Fajtfest (CZ), Free & Easy (DE) & Rock Den See(AT). A main support EU run with Secrets (US) followed by another UK run this time co-headlining with Kingdom Of Giants(US) rounded off the year.

2018 kicked off with another U.K. headline tour followed by a full EU tour supporting Oceans Ate Alaska. Multiple trips to EU followed over the summer for numerous festivals including Graspop(BE),Nova Rock(AT),Jera On Air(NL) & Summerblast(DE) in addition to shows with Asking Alexandria & blessthefall.

The sophomore album ‘In Moment // In Memory’ was independently released on //Hollow Music on 19th October 2018 and made the Top 10 iTunes Metal Chart in UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, Japan, Italy & USA.

‘In Moment // In Memory’ is the legacy of a personal journey of both love and loss. In 2017, Vocalist / Guitarist Tobias Young lost his father to an aggressive battle with Cancer and understandably, therein lies the overriding inspiration for the record. The album is raw, heavy, melodic and in all honesty, it’s a rollercoaster of emotion.

Following the release of IM//IM they went out with Glamour Of The Kill for ashort run ahead of a full U.K./EU headline run in Feb/March 2019. Multiple trips followed this taking in shows in Sweden with Adept & Crystal Lake and then in the UK/EU with Wage War and with Polaris & Bad Omens in EU. In addition they played a raft of further festival slots including Jera On Air,Rock Maraton(HU),Fajtfest,Pell Mell & Fallen Fortress(DE).

A successful 2019 ended with the release of a brand new track ‘Burn It // Bury It’ ahead of a 3 week EU/U.K. run on the Impericon Never Say Die! tour alongside Crystal Lake,In Hearts Wake,King 810,Polar,Alpha Wolf & Great American Ghost.

Unfortunately a full EU/U.K. headline tour was recently cancelled due to the Covid-19 situation around the world, however the band will be back out in the summer across EU at festivals including main stage slots at Resurrection Fest (ES) alongside System Of A Down & Killswitch Engage and Reload Festival (DE) amongst many other festival and headline slots, with full rescheduled tours soon to be announced for later in the year. OHOH will also be appearing at 3 Impericon Festivals in Germany in September.

Currently the band are writing and new material will arrive later this year.

To date OHOH have shared stages with the likes of: Asking Alexandria, Wage War, Crystal Lake, Polaris, Don Broco, Underoath, In Hearts Wake, Crossfaith, Funeral For A Friend, Northlane, Deez Nuts & Adept amongst others.

With a strong online presence they have racked up over 108k followers on Facebook and over 25k YT subscribers & 25k IG followers.

Their #TeamOHOH community has helped them clock up nearly 25 million streams on their Spotify channel and 5 million + views on their YT channel. They have consistently had between 100-200k monthly listeners since 2017.
